Anyone have any ideas on serious power gain on a 1.8 bravo. Need more instant power. Plz help.

Buy an HGT or spend about £2-3000 on your 1.8.

Would by a HGT if i could afford the insurance. ( only 18 ). Wot mods would the 1.8 respond to best?.

Your insurance on a modded 1.8 would be more. Why not wait a few years.

Yup Tom is right.

Novitec do a Turbo conversion for the 1.8, I believe it gives another 50bhp ? but is also around the £3,000 Mark fitted.

Your insurance would be sky high, and an engine that is not designed for a Turbo shouldn't really have a Turbo conversion!

Don't waste your money, get a HGT when you can afford it.
