Need advice on an aftermarket CD Player for my Marea.

Hello all, I've just switched to a 99 Marea ELX and I'm really missing my CD's, I've bought an adapter from ebay for a clarion stereo thats supposed to give me use of the steering controls but there isn't much to it- it's a CLA-20FI lead with a small block with ten plugs (five of them wired up) at one end and a big red block with twenty plugs (just two of them wired up) at the other end. Will this work when I buy my cd player or have I been conned? also what are my other options? does anyone know where I could get a factory fit cd for my car,they don't seem to be around anywhere?

Hi,

my new Marea JTD has a sony cdx-f5500 headunit fitted with remote control, the previous owner also had the interface so that i can still use the steering wheel controls.

Its they are quite cheap and plays cd's & mp3 etc

so might be an option
