General N e Ideas?

Seen a Front wing for my car as the owner before me had a prank in it and i rrally want to get my car looking good. But as i say thers is a massive dent just above the drivers side indicator which is rusting a little.
I've seen a new wing for £15 but i just want to get an idea on how much it would cost me to get the panel sprayed and fitted??
Or how easy would it be to spray it myself??
N e help on this subject would be much appreciated

Just got my 15" 4 spoke TSW's on my car and its looking good and has improved the handling considerably compared to the old button style wheels i had on it before Lol

Have you sorted out that shaking above 40mph and the door not opening then[?]

spraying wing yourself depends how good you are with an airosol. Do you have a collage near you what does a car bodywork corse if so see if they will fit and spray, a guy got his whole car sprayed at my sons collage for £60,
Fitting it yourself may be easy if its a bolt on type

No haven't sorted out the shaking but i'm going to get it looked at on monday going to get the tracking balancing and a new tyre put on the back as the tread is a little low. then i'm going to see if i can get a cheap track rod and replace that and then see. The only thing that i've just heard today as i was going round right hand coner was a knocking noise which indicates to me that it could possibly be one of two things the wheel ain;t tight enuf (NOT GOOD) or the track rods are buggered?
So i'll have a look 2moz wen i have time. lol
I'll try a college sounds a lot cheaper if u know of a guy that got his whole car sprayed for £60 can't b bad at all. lol

getting tracking checked is usaly free but if its out they charge to correct it, then if you get new track rod after you will have to pay again, so if it is out don't let them adjust it untill you have done the other thing first, A good tyre fitters will check everything for free like wheel bearing bottom balljoint trackrod end and steering rack, some have it on the board outside "free suspenshion and steering check" so ask first see what they say but don't part with any money. Post what they say up here first so we can see if they have given fair price Especially if you go to quickfit

Bearings:

You can jack up your car to check the ball bearings. I had both mine changed (front). We could hardly speak to each other in the car - they were completely dried out. Pull on the handbrake ofcourse. Take a firm grip on the raised wheel and shake, twist and bend. If it - yes - shakes, twists or bends, your bearings are gone to the eternal hunting fields. If it is tight but makes a very low grinding noise when turned around, the bearings are dry and needs replacing as well. Easy to check yourself and costs nothing.

erm the wing sounds bout the rite price about spreying i would think it would cost u a pritty penny cos its at least 30for the paint depending on the color and if it needs mixing and its at least £26pound per hour labour so you looking nearly £90 i would guess!

if on the other hand ur like me and ur g/f dad is a car sprey0r then you can get both your bumpers done for the price of 2pints or cyder and 2half pints of carling so all in all about a tenner

but hey not all car spreyers daughters are as fit as mine lol

dont worrie lads wen i take a pic of my car ill put her on the bonnet in a bikini and high heels for ya! but dont worrie ill have a matt on the bonnet so she dnt scratch it with the high heels lol
