Has anyone used this company?

I just ordered a full set of tyres off them.

Reviews all seem ok, one or two negative but considering the amount of sales they do you got to expect a couple of hiccups.

So, anyone any experience with them?

I just purchased a full set of Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric II and they were £35 cheaper than any where else.

Is it true if you fit tyres with a lower speed rating the what the manufacture recommends it can invalidate your insurance?

My Multiwagon has a Y rating, loads of cheap tyres available that would fit it but less than 50% of them had the Y rating.

I wonder how many people on here have purchased cheap tyres not realising the speed rating is too low and could invalidate their insurance .. ?

Check your handbook for speed ratings applicable ;)

bit silly the speed ratings in the uk if its above 70mph surely common sense would dictate that they are adequate but as you say insurance co's see otherwise,. you can understand the load rating been important however

No way is the stock speed rating for a Stilo Y. That's the 186+mph bracket, V and W are much more likely. The Bravo is only W.

The hand book said V + W but the Mytyres.co.uk and other websites say Y for 215/45/17 ..

Edit.
I put the car reg into a few sites and they all said the same thing, our Multiwagon requires a Y speed rated tyre ..

Perhaps the 215/45/17 W in the handbook is a minimum but a 215/45/17 Y is whats recommended?
