Like I said, my window wipers just all of a sudden stopped working. I had just finished getting it washed when i ACCIDENTLY switched on the rear wiper to find it had got stuck half way! Thinking it could be because the window had been dried well and it was just stiff, I tried to use the window spray to find out that didn't bloody work!

I then, as you do, tried the front wiper to find out I was completley fcuked cause not one of them was working.

Now as many londoners would know, the wheather isn't to pleasant at the mo and not being able to use your wipers puts you in 2 positions.
1. NOT DRIVE
2. Drive like ACE VENTURA(not safe)

Wisely I have chosen No.1 which has made me very pissed!!
Any Idea??? Help!! It's bloody raining right now!!

sticky wipers

I suspect that your rear wiper has seized on its shaft. A pretty common event on Bravos due to water getting down the shaft and corrosion eventually taking it's toll. Look back in the forum for previous experiences. You can take out on some models and clean up the shaft, regrease and it's good. Others need a new motor. With the load it's probably blown a fuse which might well be the same fuse for the front wipers.
If the rear washers haven't been working lately then water has been squirting into the rear wiper motor which is probably where it all started.
Good luck and you could always use a brolly like Ace!

Same thing happened me

Same thing happened me, as it was pissing rain, luckily was on the motorway and was able to get enough speed up to keep the window clear enough.
have you tried the fuse for the wipers?
they only cost bout 25p to replace.

all sorted

Thanks for the reply peeps, but it was down to a blow fuse. Simply replaced it and had a nice drive though the lovely london rain!! Thanks.

blown fuse

Glad the fuse was the problem. BUT fuses tend to blow for a reason. Electrical overload. It could and is very likely to happen again. Most often at the worst times like buckets of rain. Keep my previous posting in mind as you might need it!
