hey! my dad recently brought me a Fiat Uno for my 18th birthday for my first car and tbh its not my thing :p i wanted a old classic mini! i was just wondering how much its worth as i dont have no intrest in it, shame because its a nice example of a uno :) details - H reg 1990.1.4, petrol, 5 door hatch back, believed to be standard fiat alloys, 67 thousand miles from new!! One previous owner from new. central locking, elec windows, sun roof ect. many thanks:) jack

Mmmmm... I have absolutely no idea, but please list your Uno as a classified ad. There are strict rules against advertising in the discussion forum section.

In the meantime, perhaps we should have a discussion about why you wouldn't want an economical runaround as well as a Mini project

Have you driven your Uno much yet? I think you'll find that the Uno will feel rather more refined to drive than a Mini and probably a good deal faster on the motorway than a standard Mini 1000. ;)

Still, the Mini has that classic charm and the Uno does not. But think how you'll feel if someone keys your Mini or walks on the bonnet compared to when that happens to the Uno...

i agree with alex, although the uno doesnt have that "charm" factor that the mini does, why not keep the uno, its cheap all round, buy a banged up mini clubman and work on it, get it just the way you want it.

That way you can strip the mini right down and work from bottom up and still be able to get places (CHEAP!)

Thats what i plan on doing, once i can get my hand on a garage. Either the mini clubman, or capri laser.

Alot of people put the uno down, mainly because of the looks. But once you have one and have driven it for a while, you cant go without it!!
