Is that the normal location for the front number plate! Looks like a lot of money's gone in to that car. The strut brace shouldn't matter where it's fitted in relation to the other brackets, as long as it's firmly fitted, and maintains the tops of the suspension towers a set distance apart.

Lol the number plate in the window thing is because it came off when i hit the front bumper on a speed bump where i live! Its a nightmare living in London i have to be extremely careful over the humps. And yeh i agree a red strut brace will look better, i am going to have the omp one sprayed red. The only reason i have a yellow one is because i got it from a mate very cheap second hand. :D I already have a red one to match the back.
Ps Thanks for the comments everyone. :)

mate, looking tidy dooode! no other kit is acceptable, only horneyman will do!

as u know i always love ur car :D
doesnt matter about the front brace, it'll work perfectly fine where it is! as for the clutch thing, im running a black diamond jobbie, seems to be ok and holding of from slipping but then again its only done 13k miles so dunno how long its going to last.

Thanks for the comments guys.
Having run in my engine at last i hooked up my 5th injector now and decided to take the car for a little spin last night. I pushed an RX 7 outta my way and did 145mph on the M4 lol Not sure how accurate the speedo is but thats what it read. I just wish i had someone with me to video it or take pics lol But i wouldnt recommend trying this at home ladies and gents lol Just a one off for me, From now on its track days at santa pod and no silly speeds on public highways etc. :D

I got all my parts through Vulcan engineering in brentford. They dont normally do work on uno turbos but as they did a rebuild for my mate Faz on his mark 1 Uno Turbo they said they would do mine as well. :D But if you search the net i'm sure you can find them as well. Look for Payen or Spesso head gaskets.
PS hows the uno running?? She still smoking? Mine is smoking a little too but only when the fan cuts in, I think its the turbo seals, gona be sorting it soon. And i agree with Dunc, you need to either colour code the skirts and arches or get standard bumpers on it mate. Apart from that it looks sweet.

Hmm not sure on skirts and arhes at the mo kindda like them as they are tbh...

Well i'm gettin my clutch sorted on saturady and also gonna try and find out where the smoke is coming from... Hoping not the valve stem or might just as well do a full rebuild....£££'s :(

Worn valve stem seals will only make the car smoke first thing in the morning when you start the car, Oil which has drained down into the guides will be burnt off causing it to smoke, If the car is left standing still for a few days it will be more likely to smoke more if the valve stem seals are worn.
Worn Piston rings will cause it to smoke all the time, and a worn turbo or seals (Like mine) will give off blueish smoke usually when the car reaches normal temperature as oil will not burn below this temperature.

What symptoms does your car have? Worst case scenario would be a combination of the two, this would make it harder to trace.

Ummm.. none of those really...

Basically its if I put my foot down even running standard boost then let my foot off blue smoke comes out.... and it's worse when the boost is up'd....

Sounds like turbo related maybe?

Lol I wish i did cos i need one myself!! But probably gona just get mine reconditioned now as its practically brand new anyway, just needs new seals, have no idea why they got worn out so quickly but i guess i'll find out once i send it back to them for inspection
