Technical My horn is now on constanlty

Hi people...

In an earlier post I was looking for where the horn is located. I couldnt find it. Since then I have and I saw that the spade connector had its wire missing. I went to halfords and bougt a new spade for it once connected the horn was just on.. constantly...so the circuit is complete? Is it something in the steering wheel ? It should only happen on a complete circuit. and if i need to remove steering wheel bit how do i do that? it has airbag?

Worth checking the relay first -- it's in the engine bay next to the battery. When relays fail with age they become seized either in the on or off position. Remove it and do an ohms test across the pins. You can test your steering wheel horn switch by putting the probes of the multimeter into where the relay would normally sit, and having a friend push the horn.
