I didn't realise that deleting the wanted ad would lock the thread which arose! Sorry.
I'd emailed three breakers, and not receiving any replies decided that it's a 2004 car and nobody will ever know that I just soldered a wire onto the switch pin and that to the end of the broken wire. I now have a (O) on the display.... and while I had the cover/cup holder/dog fur collector off I stuck in a couple of usb power sockets and another that connects to the head unit for Android Auto. Much tidier.
