General my first single wiper conversion? not so good

Hi every 1 tried my first single wiper conversion on my seicento last nite!
didnt go well ! got the motor from a scrap yard ,it was waiting 4 me when i got there, suposed 2 b of a uno.
I toke the sei 1 of completely and could not get the new motor in place just looked 2 big ( did'nt take air out) :bang:
any way how would the motor bolt in place? or does it not bolt in and the wiper it self holds it in place?
The motor i ave as 2 bolt holes on it on the same side as the wiper stub is this right or have i been given a rear wiper motor?
Plz help?

On the sei (or cinq) there will be no mounts near the middle as they are normally driven by a linkage. The uno one is a real struggle to fit in, you need to modify the heater box a bit to get enough clearance for the uno wiper peg to sit through. There should be a nut on the end too, which bolts on after you have the peg through. I also used a couple of torx stainless bolts to hold the motor steady (using a couple of washers and feeding bolts through the grill).

You may also need to modify the plastic plug, and you'll definately need to extend the wiring... The splash guard for the old wiper motor will also be a pig to refit (i ended up cutting mine in half and only putting half back).

Thanks4 that i.m goin back to the scrapies today and goin to take a motor of myself cos the 1 i ave as no thread on the wiper stub so no good for me.

Just been to the scrapie and i couldnt belive how easy it was to take of the wiper motor on a uno,
wiper
the bolt under it
2 screws
and it just droped out ,wish it was that easy on my seicento.
It was the same motor just the tread had eroded away so will attempt to put it in on the weekend.
