Technical My coupe turbo 16v is not boosting!!!

I bought my Coupe turbo 16v recently, it starts and drives fine no smoke from exhaust but it was not boosting, feels quick but not right, i have changed the spark plugs, did an oil and filter change, added lifter free, checked pipes from intercooler, turbo ect, it does feel that it is has started boosting a bit but nothing like it should be,

does anyone know what it could be?

do you have a boost gauge fitted? if so what is it boosting to?

i dont so have no idea what it is, i took it to a fiat specialist who advised me it is a worn cam shaft not sure which one yet until they take the cover off on friday,

It is probably the EBV (electronic bleed valve). They get dirty inside and stick causing the car to run on base boost.

Your car will be slightly different as it is a 16VT but the valve is the same.

I cannot understand how the garage could say its a worn camshaft without taking the cover off. Unless the lobes under the oil filler cap are worn.
