General my car wont start

hiya ppl i new here i have just done a head gasket on my ulysse 2.0 s petrol now it wont start just getting a clicking noise from a relay that is near the power steering bottle can any one shed any light on this for me plz

LO!
First thinge first: Did you have the battery on charge when replacing the gasket???
12v is a MUST before diagnosing!
Check earth leads around Cyl head for poor connections and rectify if nec!
Relay by bottle is multi function ignition injection relay. if its open circuit or not closing it will crank but not fire. is this the case?
(If its cranking, check for a spark: No spark = replace relay!)
Could be crank sensor not tellimg ecu when to spark but relay will PROBABLY be cheapest!
unlike normal (4/5 pin) relays it has 16/18 pins so you cant bypass relay to check component as you can with a fuel pump or cooling fan relay. i have come across a few of these in pugs & citroens. hope this helps!

hi thank for the reply i have replaced the relay the battery was fully charged while we was doing it there is no spark so i will check the crank sensor

hiya my car has just come back from the garage today all running i am a idiot it cost me £60 to put a earth strap on the body
