General my 3/4 finished grill on mk2

just finished my open front grill, needs spraying up now....not too sure on the numberplate now though, the original one looked better

number plate looks wack.
its not an import, nor is it modified. therefore its illegal...

if your going to keep the plate, stick it on the right hand side of the bumper.

me and my mate got pulled the other week and they didnt say anything about the numberplate. ill decide whether to keep it or not after iv sprayed the grill and bumpers, the standard looks better though.

but you see the little tabs u should really cut them off
they're on the bottom inside, looks but striahgter and clean after

they also to a very nice red metal replacement badge for the uno grill, occasionally crops up on ebay!

i was tempted to leave the badge on. any ideas when i spray the bumper?? i dunno whether to just do the bottom half or do the whole bumper

same dilema i came across, im going with the all black bumpers as my car is white, gives abit of a contrast. IMO your uno would look good 50:50 colour and black give little contrast and the colour addition!
the tabs btw are in the middle at the bottom, easily removed! lol

nice one, thats helped me choose, it looks quite good.
mine came as standard i think the 1.1ies all had clear units. could get some from the local scrappy

one of the only things i need to do on the exterior along with boot and painting doors aswell

theres quite a few scrappys near me so ill have a look for a set for you. otherwise my mate mite have a spair set as he broke a turbo for spares

Sqaure plate is legal, but eventually where it's positioned it will bend, which may then make it illegal.
