I hear what your saying but I don't agree, the front grill was originally silver and I didn't like it, I painted it black to match the bottom grill, and I chose a paint match colour for the badge because im going for a black and white theme, plus I think it sets my punto apart from the others out there, never seen one with a bagde like mine. The punto badge is the next thing to get blacked out.
I appreciate the love for my alloys although they need reconditioning
As for the bagde I just used a hair dryer its harder to melt or damage the badge, just takes a bit longer, just to fore warn you, it is a bit of a hassle to repaint them, totally worth it though, took me about a day to do
