hi all, new to forum, just saying hello before i post a radio code related problem.
we are on our 3rd multipla, 2 classics and current new style multipla, clutch went on most recent one buyt other than that never had any trouble with them.
I'm on clutch #3 , having covered over 180k miles (car owned from new).
Only other parts needed (apart from consumables) are the useless suspension/steering bushes and the feeble handbrake cables - I now consider these to be consumables too.
AND a gentle run around the M25 yesterday (100+ miles) saw a declared MPG of 51 (probably 54ish in reality - see my thread on "How accurate is MPG readout?").
hi, and thanks for the information. yeah the handbrake cable has frozen on me during the winter, and my last two multiplas have sounded like i am driving over cobblestones with all the bangs and rattles, must be the suspension bushes you mentioned.
buyt other than that never had any trouble with them.
