Technical Multipla Wont Start...help!

please help as im working away next week and cas wont have a car.i got in it yesterday and tried to start it but the key light was still on so i stopped and locked the car and tried again(it usually works.)but now nothing happens at all.battery isnt flat(radio works and lights)kinda thinking along the lines of immobiliser....can anybody help please..

you're right your immob is not switching off. usually it is due to a bad connection at the aerial that reads the key. this aerial is on the ignition switch. remove the plastic cover (aka steering column shroud) and give the wiring a good wiggle.

it wasnt the imobiliser jug it was the earth wire to the gearbox,i touched it and it broke in my hand...result..the missus is happy again..
