Hi all -

I have the 595cc engine and I noticed the muffler has a pinch in the tailpipe. After some research, I noticed that those with a pinch in the tailpipe were made for the 499cc engines. Is that correct? If so, could this play a role in limiting the performance of the 595cc engine? I've attached a pic of what I'm referring to.

Anyone with a 595/600cc driving with a pinched muffler?

Thanks.

I thought they were all like that from factory. My 594cc engine certainly is.

The '126' and the '500' silencers are different due to the way that the 'heating' air exits the thermostat-housing---a 500 silencer will not fit a 126 engine. The front down-pipe has to go OVER the "to the heater" pipe where it exits the thermostat-housing. I too have seen the "pinched end" silencer on '126' engines. So, if it fits, that must be normal.
