Newbie to Fiat omnership- bought a an 02 JTD Multipla and so far it's been ok- apart from the rear jet washer packing up, trim falling off and the entire gearstick coming off in my hand from the dashboard when I put it into reverse!
Still, went to Euro Disney in it,600 miles to the tank with four up at a very pedestrian pace, no more than 60-65mph all the way - and a very long journey.
The readout shows 33-35mpg when travelling to work, and I drive it like a saint, but recently, with the kids in the back I put the window lock on on the dash.Same journey- readout goes up to 42! is it just me or is his a Fiat thing?!
Off to change the glow plugs now, got the dreaded flashing light and it looks like it's also leaking fuel from somewhere too.If the kids didn,t like it so much i would change it for something else, -( it's only got 71k on the clock and had a new clutch too.) Are these all common problems ?
