Ducato Motorhome:Fiat Ducato Instrument Cluster/ Clock/ Dash Pod/ Speedometer problems

My Fiat Ducato Instrument Cluster/ Clock/ Dash Pod/ Speedometer is blank and sometimes works. I have had a garage check it and they say it may me the digital clock that is faulty. Could it be a bad connection? Any ideas? Thanks
