Technical Motorhome ducato engine issue

2011 Multijet on Autotrail.
Smoking was blue and juddering engine, injectors replaced, still smoking, black on acceleration, still judders on tickover. Garage test says compression low on cylinder 1. That garage was diesel specialist so doesn't work on engine. We're at a loss to where to go/who to trust. Spent £2k so far. Yorkshire.

Can we have more details, engine series, history, mileage, does it use oil, water,etc.
Was engine compression test a physical pressure test and what were the exact results on each cylinder.

Hi guys.
I own a lovely Fiat Ducato 2.5 diesel 1988 autotrail motorhome
i would love some help i have a cracked gear box control sleeve and stuck on a road and live in my motorhome,
and ideas or anyone know a fiat ducato 1988 2.5 diesel os similar engine i could acquire one.
I will tracel if i have to to take it out.

Take it off and get a welder or a fabrication shop to either weld it up or use a new piece of tube to bring it back to useable condition .
