Go tthe phone call, you have passed your MOT, kind of suprised of i go to collect the car thinking yey, it'll only cost me £25!

Go to a garage and only spend £25, talk about fooling myself! He got me whilst my guard was down for a bill from last august!

I had done some work for him which i didn't want paying for, then had problems with one of the cars, so took it to him, he sorted it and said he would sort the bill later. There was me thinking he had off sent one good deed against the other what with it being several months ago. Not so lucky, total cost for the job £140, he knocked it down to £80 meaning i left the garage over £100 down.

Ouch! Unlucky.

Mine passed its retest today. Failed on emissions last week and sailed through today.

Although they did say they had to fiddle the machine a little for a reading as my car was backfiring ever so slightly on occasions

what were your readings, bloody annoying when it fails on something like emisions, if it's say a tyre it's easy to fix, but emissions is an odd one!

at 2778rpm mine was
CO 0.03% max 0.2%
HC 28ppm max 200ppm
Lambda 1.03 0.97 to 1.03


at 764rpm
CO 0.01% max 0.3%
