Hello John, Good to see a fellow West Yorkshire man on the board!

As far as paint work go's I use a company in Wakefield called "C+S" They do all the paint work for Fiat Piccadily (Wakefield near Leeds). They have done a fantastic job on my car. Bypassing the Fiat middle man has saved £500 Which is always a bonus.

If you want to give them a try please post again.

Distance

I hardly use motorways oin my car, mostly town driving, friends in the suburbs etc. And to work and back that is usually traffic jams

Re: Brakes

Stock rubber hoses do expand ALOT under braking. PTFE lined stainless overbraid (goodridge etc..) are much much stiffer.

You would only really notice the difference on a non-servo'd car. The servo introduces alot of sponge to the brake pedal so you won't notice the difference in the hose.
