The beginning of another 850 build. Just cutting out some rust holes in the rockers.

Here is more on the build.

Still had another project finishing up in front of the coupe. It's the red OT1000 Spider being prepared for shipment to Japan.

Now my 600 cabrio blew an axle boot. So the coupe needed to be put aside for the 600

I got tired of replacing early 600 boots; they dryout and crack too fast. Looked for neoprene boots and found a Geo Metro outer CV boot fits close enough with some modifications. I've since found the perfect boot off an ATV that I'll install on the other side. I'm so relieved I don't have to buy poor quality and and expensive Fiat boots anymore.(y)
See the green starter cable off a 124 spider? It's a larger gauge cable and carries more current to the tiny 600 starter.

Binanchina with a Simca 1000 suspension and transaxle ;) The wheels now belong to my 67 850 Coupe.
