The Single biggest thing to worry about and look out for on any Uno Turbo is Rust. Usual places would be the rear suspension turrets, front suspension turrets, sometimes the floorpan and sills can rust heavilly too and around the sun roof (if it has one). Doors and bonnets etc are easily replaceable so I wouldnt be too worried about those bits. As for engine wise well i guess you must know quite abit about Turbo cars so watch out for blue smoke etc indicates worn turbo/seals or worse worn piston rings etc.
Uno Turbos are getting very rare so to get a decent one you'd be looking to pay around 1k for a decent one or even more for a MINT one. Anything less and its usually a case of too good to be true IMO. Other then that performance wise in standard they run 0.6 bar of boost with the T2 turbo and run 118bhp standard with a top speed of 127mph. 118 bhp doesnt sound like much by todays standards but trust me mate in a car as light as a feather it makes all the difference for sure, you're sure to scare some seriously bigger motors which is where all the fun begins
Cant remember the 0-60 times but they are under 8 seconds for sure. Fit a bleed valve to it , Induction kit and exhaust and run 1 bar and it will make a big difference for sure. Should be able to get it up to about 130-140bhp with those mods.
To get some serious power stick on a hybrid turbo and a bigger intercooler and get some head work done i.e ported/polished/flowed, performance cam etc and you can get them up to about 200bhp+ which is approximately how much i have under the bonnet with a 5th injector setup for extra fueling but thats when things can start to get expensive and it all depends on what you want to get out of the car if you know what i mean. I've built mine to be a quick road car so its not stripped out or anything just tuned up.
