First l I would ike to change my interior. Is this possible to do and if so how can it be done ?,Can i buy new interior from shops if so could someone leave a few links. I have posted a few pictures of the interior seats and door panels. The oustide of the car is black, and the red inside just doesnt go.

any help would be much apreciated (y)

I agree, I prefer the blue interior to the red. Do you want just to replace the seats or do you want the plastics and dash as well?

You can buy seats I think, but you need to make sure they fit suitably and the dimensions are correct etcetera. I've seen some in Argos.

If you wanted Fiat ones in another colour (i.e. blue Punto ones) try the local scrap yard, dig around in a Punto and remove the interior from it and stick it in yours. :)

Where do you live and is this a 5 door Punto.

My punto is red with a blue interior and I'm looking for a red one, I'd do a straight swap if your local enough.

You can tell his is a 3dr, because the front seat is leaning forward. I think the 3 dr seats are a straight fit into the 5drs though.

im just looking to get rid of the red seats and the red on the door's. im happy witht the plastics and the dash as it goes with the exterior of the car.

Yeah, I'm sure it's possible to buy new seats - I'm not sure if you have to buy model-specific seats or they're just standard, but I'm sure someone can answer that here.

If you wanted Punto ones in a different colour (i.e. blue or grey) do a swap with Joe or perhaps search the scrap yard and take the blue or grey (whichever you prefer) and fit them straight in.

The red door cards would have to be replaced with a model-specific door card. I'd again do a swap from another Punto and fit them on.

Is it easy enough to take the back seats off ? i was having a look under them today but coud not see any way of geting them off. hopefully im able to do a straight swap its just the colour i dont like thats all.

Ive been in halfords and seen an ' Interior Spray' do you know if that would be able to be sprayed on to the fabric or just the dash?.

Thanks for the advice its very helpfull.

Sorry dude but I'm in the Midlands, bit far to travel. However this week I have been offered the grey interior out of a 5 foor elx for £50 so I shall be doing that.

no problem (y). Thats a good deal, im going a to keep an eye out on the site and see if anyone is close by who is selling or will trade. Heading of to the scrapyards on friday for a look about aswell.

cheer anyway mate (y)

Probably just the dash and plastics and mouldings, I'd of thought.

To remove the rear seats, I'm guessing you have to slide the seats forward (as if you were folding them down) and there's bolts under there.

thanks for the help mate. ill see what i can do.

Oh and just a note I found the other day

If your rear bench is a one piece bench and the one you are taking has a split rear seat (so you can fold each side down independently) then you have to take the bracket too. Otherwise the seats won't fold down properly.

So basically take all the fixings aswell as the seats from the rear bench.
