hi there sorry for delayed reply...

the oil light was coming on at ideal when up to temperature....

basically my neighbor was the cars original owner who was moaning how they had owned the car from new etc and shedded out on a list of parts for it totalig nearly £200 so decided to get shot... after a quick chat the oil pump was the only component left to do and so decided to risk it... and turns out the pump was fine just the filter was blocked.

funnily fiat actually sold me a dodgy pump ( a £250 part) as the valve was bent and she wouldn't turn according to the technician. but fiat did swap it a week later for another :).

she was running sweet after untill ecu fault but all sorted now

Tempted to remove my side strips but not sure! I'm going to have to remove one as a some idiot in a carpark has dented my door in such a way that it's pulled the side strip off at one end!

worth it nick your mums (in my case hair dryier) or your partners, heat them up come of so easy then bit off tar&glue remover with some THICK polish looks sweet as

do it!!! can always reapply the for a couple of quid if not

Best way is to heat them up with a hot air gun/hair dryer to soften glue and then pull off slowly to avoid rippling the pannel. Use a caramel wheel on a drill to remove glue and use a bit of tar and glue on a rag to remove any residue that's left. Give the area a polish to bring up the colour of the paint around where the moulding was and to remove any marks caused in the removing process. Lastly wax the whole pannel and should look good as new!

Just hoping that when the doors where repainted they took the trims off rather than masked them out!

purchased some disc and drums :) for her as i have no documents of theses ever being done  plus brembo have got a promo on so for a punto these are relatively inexpensive so aiming at doing a job lot on brakes plus paint since ive got some red paint from our MX5 left!!! all to be done when i have 2 arms again

BUT in the mean time shes washed and polished for FRIDAY

AUTO ITALIA BLACKPOOL

Nice, similar colour to my mk2b, white alloys go really well with the light blue.

Anychance of a link to the brakes ?

like white wheels on the blue as :) but heard they are a pain to keep clean as i read up as was looking at the 17" razors of a stilo but rub so need spacers etc....

so i went for a set of 14" off a mk1 and rufurbed them audi quartz grey not black but not standard silver ended up not looking bad to say done at home on the drive etc...

the drums i won on an auction £3.20 brand new.... but the brembo discs and pads are BIN £40 with £19 off
