mk 1 punto blue key multi remote reprograming

hi! Im Craigy . I got a mk1 punto sporting 97 0n an R i was woundering if anyone out there can tell me how to reprograme my blue key remote! ive bn told its can be done out side the house as long as ive got my red key wich i ave. So iif any wany can give advice on how to do it would b great

Hello mate and WELCOME TO THE FORUM!! :wave:

To programme your blue key using the red key - - -

1)Put red key in ignition and turn on,wait for the code light to go out(about 3 secs)
2)take out red key and put one of the blue keys in,turn ignition on,wait for code light to go out(3 secs)
3)take key out and put the other blue key in,turn ignition on,wait for code light to go out(3 secs)
4)take blue key out & put red key back in again,turn ignition on,wait for code light to go out(3 secs)
5)take red key out.
6)try both blue keys & make sure engine starts with them both.

Don't use the red key again unless for the above procedure. Otherwise youl have to do it all over again.

hey thanx 4 that both keys now work. does anyone know how 2 prpgrame the blue remote so the centrle locking works on the blue key buttion please?? if so how?
