Hi folks,

I've recently acquired an old (1995) Ulysse, and it is missing some seats. The middle row centre seat and one of the two rear row seats are missing, and I'd like to get hold of these second hand. Sounds simple enough but there's one thing bothering me. Is the middle row centre seat different from the others? I presume it is as it must come with its own seatbelt, seeing as there isn't one attached to the roof (like there is in my VW Touran). So do I need to look specifically for a middle row centre seat, or will I get away with fitting any seat? If it's the latter, how do I go about fitting a seat belt to it?

Thanks - any advice gratefully received!
Steve

Four of the rear seats (on the seven seater) are identical, but the fifth seat (usually fitted in the middle row centre position) is slightly narrower and forms a table when the back is folded down.
The seat belt for this is just a lap belt, which is a separate item which clips into the seat at both ends. This lap belt would fit into any of the rear seats.

It sounds like you need:
one full width seat (identified by material on the rear of the seat back,
rather than hard plastic),
one narrower seat (with tray and cup holder moulded into the seat back, for when it is folded down), and
one lap belt.

I haven't measured, but the centre seat is only a couple of inches or so narrower than the rest. Check that this is one of the two missing seats, rather than fitted in a different position in the car, as it will fit in different slots in the car. Your car may have always been a five seater, with two full width seats and one narrower seat, and the previous owner fitted two in the middle and one at the back for convenience. If so, the lap belt may be tucked into the pocket on the back of a front seat, or in one of the other storage holes.

Wow, thanks for the comprehensive answer! There is one seat currently installed in the back row, and a gap in the middle of the centre row, so I'll go and check that rogue seat out as I expect (and hope!) it's the middle row centre seat (I'll also have a dig for the lap belt). So if that's the case I would then need two full size seats for the back row, correct? I would imagine they're far easier to come by, so here's hoping!

Thanks again, that has been a great help!

There are plenty on eBay at this moment.

Hi gball,

Thanks for the tip regarding ebay. Turns out I do have a complete middle row, so I do need two rear row seats. I've had a look on ebay but can only find one advert when searching for "Ulysse seat". Any tips how I might find any more to choose from?
Cheers,
Steve

PEUGEOT 806 REAR BENCH SEAT item# 4650864753
When I posted the reply I saw at least 3 people selling seats. You just have to keep looking as it can change very quickly.

why not try ulysse breaking,806 breaking or synergie breaking all the seats fit and most ebay sellers will post better if you can find one breaking a car near you as postage for the seats would be around the £60 mark .hope this helps(y)
