General Misfire & Overfueling

Well i went to take my baby out the other day........

Started her up & left her running for a while as u do.

After a few minuites she was popping & banging/smoking like the choke was stuck on & now wont rev over 4000 ! ? :bang:...Never had this before.

I've checked all the obvious things & changed the plugs,dizzy cap & idle control valve so far.

Any ideas ? ?

Well. . . . . . . After an hour or so of tinkering/changing things. . . . . . process of elimination.

It was the throttle position sensor ! I'd never of thought it.

Every time I read of people having problems like this, I'm grateful that the only electronic item on my Tipo is the ignition.
