General Mileage?

Hi forum. What kind if mileage are you getting from your cars? My 69 seems to get around 14-15km/L……..low?…high?….what is normal?

20L tank, I get around 300KM until the fuel light starts to come on, so 15L of use roughly 20KM per L.

The last time I filled up, I got 15.75 km/l if you believe the odometer. My car reads 7% below the true speed, so I wonder if it reads 7% below the true distance.

Odometer and speedo run off the same cable and my speedo is accurate compared to GPS on my phone so hopefully the odometer is correct

Based on c. 3,000 miles in my ownership over a bit less than 3 years I've averaged 39mpg = 14km/litre = 7l/100km (take your choice of measurement). That seems to be in line with @AndersLS and @smart51. Mine's a 499c standard engine btw.

I am often asked that question----my stock answer is "depends how Italian I drive it", but to be serious, I reckon on about 40mpg with a tuned 659cc engine.
