hi everyone, im new here so just wanted to say hi before i tell you the problem.
ive just brought a brand new bravo equipped with blue&me. i have a lgcookie which i have paired with the car (both devises show this). when i start the car the bluetooth icon comes on the screen and my network providers name is along side it. after a few seconds my phone turns off then back on and the car says no bluetooth. ive tried to send my phone book manually and automatically but its says no connection, please try again later. however it will allow me to read incoming messages and i have received calls, i havent answered them though as i didnt know how, ive read the manual so know what to do next time, lol. as far as i know my phone is set correctly but i have e-mailed lg just to bouble check this. i know my phone isnt on the compatability list so is this why i can only access some features? if so why has blue&me excluded certain phones whilst allowing others. i was really looking forward to using this technology and cannot change my phone for another 12 months as its contracted. do you know ig blue& me will be updating this soon?

many thanks to you all from 1 very disappointed and frustrated but over the moon with my car otherwise fiat bravo owner.

My LG Renoir has a few issues, but I found that by uninstalling the whole thing and going from fresh, I was able to get it to work. Was able to make/receive calls OK after then.

The last calls list does not update with that phone though, where as my SE one does when I start the car. Never managed to get the text reader to work with any phone though :(

One other thing you should do with the phone is automatically allow the B&M to access your bluetooth on the phone. And if the issue is with the phone, I find that updating the firmware often helps. Many phone manufacturers have all the necessary stuff on their website. Unsure about LG though...
