General Marrakech - Uno capital of the world?

I have just returned from Marrakech and was amazed at the number of Unos I saw out there! almost every 2nd or 3rd car was an Uno - not just taxis like in the picture.

I didn't spot any turbos but many 4 door models Mk1, 2 & 3 with ZERO visible rust - although many dinks and dents

I have been to Rome before and didn't see as many unos.

Where have you been and what models did you see?

Hehe! What a horrible colour that Uno is...

The first time I went to South Africa in 2003, I was surprised by how many Unos there were! Then I learned they actually made them there until 2000 or so. And apparently, the alcohol-fuelled version is still imported from Brazil.

Last few times I've been to South Africa, there seem to be fewer Unos left on the roads. Some of that is due to the popularity of the Palio, though. Also a saloon version called the Siena.
