Marea Wipers

The front wipers in my Marea(11k) have suddenly become a bit erratic(I had to same problem on my 'B' reg Uno!) -no intermittant control also not returning to park when switched off. Anybody any suggestions before I remove the tray to get at the motor?

There have been a few reports of the storks failing on Bravo's...I presume they are the same on the marea...
