Hi guys

I recently bought a P reg Marea Weekend 1800 with full service history, fully documented local car with only 22,000 miles on her absolutley stunning.

However I have noticed when I first start up from cold there is a tappet noise, it sounds as if one tappet is realy loud. Also even when warmed up and your going up through the gears there seems to be an odd miss as if she`s holding back!........could this be the spark plugs require changing?

I have been told that in the rear boot space behind the plastic covers there should be some sort of connection for a CD multichanger, I cnnot find mine any ideas please. Also do I have to buy a Fiat mutichanger or will any fit?

I always let my cars tick over and never drive straight off. Any help on this would be graet.

Thanks

Gogsown1:(

remove the radio.you should have two single or one double connector[usually black]to work the radio.if you have another plug pluged into the radio[possibly green/blue]this is for the multi changer,if not in the radio ,it wont be in the boot.if it is follow it back.

Why did you post this twice?

Certainly worth checking the spark plugs, and the HT leads/coil packs.

The CD changer for the Marea weekend seems to be often under the rear seats. If it doesn't have the CD changer it may have been removed along with the lead. I'm not sure if they all have the leads inplace from the factory.

Re: Marea Weekend, please help!

Thanks guys for leaving the information(y) . Posted twice! Yes originally posted it in styling, realised it was in the wrong place and copied it under technical. Didn't know how to or if it was possible to delete the original one, sorry Gogsown1.
