Technical Marea TD and the no boost problem

Hi

Not been using the Fiat much lately, 2 cars an all that but starting to use it again (cheaper to run) and I have noticed this no boost thing with mine, after searching on here I tried the clutch in till idle then foot down again which does the trick

has anyone managed to solve this issue yet?

I have an impreza which I have just changed the air flow sensor due to similar problems and changing thi cured it, I wonder if I should change the sensor on the fiat

try spraying your MAF with an alcohol cleaning spray (£4 @ maplins). that usually gets them working good as new again. you need to spray the glass rod that looks like a very thin thread. make sure it is completely dry before refitting (the spray evaporates quickly). remember its glass so its very delicate.
