Hi all.

My marea weekend 105 jtd is making a horrible clunking niose at the back end, Sounds like a loose eaxhaust or fuel tank hitting the underside of the car. Its a kind of crunking niose. My local mechanic has had the thing up on ramps, cant find anything wrong, but suggests there may be wear on the rear suspension bushes and after contacting the local fiat supplier, reckins the whole lot is changed out as a unit, but offers no guarantee as to wether this will fix the issue.
It is merely an option worth persueing.

The garage seems very good and They replaced worn parts on the front end not long ago and the price was very reasonable.

Anyone else found similar issue with their fiat?

My Fizz often gives out one rear-end clunk when moving from stationary (e.g. from traffic lights). Never figured out what it was.

Sounds like a sticky drum brake, not uncommon. (Unless you have disks) Try parking without engageing handbrake

I got a reply from a creater of a post dated 2005 with exact same issue and will give his unorthodox advice a try. ( Certainly raised a mechanics brow) It will help pinpoint the problem and so aid speedy repair. ( Looks like rear subframe bush wear)

i will let you guys know how I get on.
