Marea Handles

Hi,

I bought a full set of Marea handles the other day but I'm ony going to use one front and one back (I'm de-locking the passenger side) so I have one of each if anyones interested. They are dark metallic green and the drivers side one has a small gouge in the plastic. (I may actually keep this one for myself, as I havent decided what to do with them yet)
Not looking for much, just make me an offer.

I have all four handles. Front two have locks, back two dont. I am using front drivers side and rear passenger side for myself, but if there is a way to turn the lock upside-down on the passengers side handle you are welcome to them.Let me know your thoughts.

also are you guranteeing that the other first pair you are taking for yourself>?

With experience, it is possible to fit them the other way round BUT theres a L-Shaped lip that should sit at the bottom of the handle, this L shape will be upside down if you reverse them, it allows the handle to move smoothly when you pull and release the handle. And if memory serves me right the handle can sometimes catch or even stop in the pull position. However i can't remember now.

I have absolutely no idea if the handles can be turned around or not; to be honest I would seek advice from someone else off here, as I would not like to sayit can be done if it cant. SOrry I cannot be of anymore help.
Yes. the other pair I am definately keeping for myself as I have been after some of these for quite a while now. I may be able to get my hands on another full set, only in blue. I will post tomorrow with pics and updates.

reason i anted those as i dont really have the time to paint them...

No, as shown in my sig, my car is Ink Black.
I bought the green handles from a guy on eBay (turned out he lived local!!) but he said if theres any spares I need, just to ask. He also mentionned that he may have another set, so I'll confirm this and post tomorrow.

Right....

Before I sell these handles, can someone please confirm which set of handles is which? I.e. which is the drivers side and which is the passengers side. I think pic1 is the drivers side, but am not sure.

This is a close up of the front handle on pic 2 (left side... right side... who knows!! There is a small 'gouge' in the 'ridge' on the plastic.

I am keeping the front drivers and back passengers handles for myself, so the others are still up for grabs.

They were blue I think, so may be easier to paint??

to do the difference between passenger and driver side handle:

When to open the door, the mechanism of door opening acts from the up to the down.

So just try: put you front of your door, do as if you were opening the door with your "for sale handle", and if the mechanism acts from down to up, it's the good side.

If it acts from down to up, it's the opposite side.

Hope i've been understood, i'm french and it's a little bit complicated!!!
