Technical Marea front wing replacement

Hi everybody

On Christmas day I had a minor accident with my Marea 1.9 JTD Weekend, and have damaged the passenger side front wing. I'm trying to locate a replacement, and have been offered the wing from a Brava which I am told fits the Marea. Can anybody please confirm whether this is the case?

I don't think it will.
I'm sure if you aren't putting a marea wing on it has to be a bravo HGT.
Because they are wider.
Although in 5 mins somebody will come on and tell you I am wrong!

Easy check, see if the indicators on the donar wing look like yours. If it does match then its the ideal wing for your car. Silly i know but is a good way to confirm. Long slender side indicators are common on the Marea and Fiat Bravo HGT only. (all these have wider flared arches). Fiat Bravo/a except HGT have smaller indicators. (Not ideal to fit to a Marea, really)

The Bravo/a wings will fit a marea, but the problem you will have is that the wing wont flare out as much and the front bumpers alignment with the wing will be slightly out. Why because the Marea has wider wings on the front. Only the Bravo HGT shares the same wings as most Mareas.

Did you know some Marea models had the same wings as the Bravo/a fitted to them, i.e non flared with the smaller indicators. Think it was on some of the base models only, not sure whether MK1 or MK2. However it is true, had pics to prove but lost them.
