Marea electrical problem

I have a 1999 Marea 155 ELX 20v. Recently the battery's been flat in the mornings a few times - a garage check has shown that the alternator's fine but that there's a constant 3 amp drain on the battery even when everything's switched off. Anyone got any ideas?

Check your boot light, if you have one, is actually turning off. Its switch might be non functioning. Have a look in the back in the dark without opening the boot. Got any other hot wired add ons? In car phone, different alarm etc? Try pulling fuses with a ammeter connected in series with the battery and see which circuit is causing it.
