You guys may all be using them already, but if ur not take a look at:

Java based map that allows you to search for places and get directions from one place to another. You can zoom in and out, move the map round really easily by holding left mouse button and dragging etc. The US focused site (.com) even has satellite pics and you can zoom in really close to see buildings and cars.

Another java based map that you can zoom in and out of and plan routes. Not quite as detailed as the google one but can be quicker sometimes.
