Hello All,

Im a long time reader first time poster.

I've brought a new punto but without the owners manual and service guide, its off my brother so I've no worries about the car but he can't find the book or service book. I'd like to buy these and have contacted a dealer who said that the owners manual and service book is £20 quid. I don't mind paying that but I'd like to know from those who have the mk2, what did you get with your punto. Was it just 2 books or several. Since i'm paying i'd ike the full thing!

Cheers All

When I bought my Punto I didn't get the books as the owner couldn't find them  so I bought the manual from FIAT, cost about £8 + VAT. I only got the manual though, not the service book. I suppose when the cars are brand new you get some sort of wallet with the manual, stereo guide and the service record.
Anyone know?

When I brought my Punto mk2b I got:
  • Owners Handbook
  • Sound System Book
  • Aftercare Book (warrenty/service book)
  • Quick Reference Book (quick how-to guide on main operations)
  • 2 Fiat Service Books (lists all Fiat dealers and contact numbers)
  • 3 Year Fiatcare Warrenty Book

Few other bits and pieces

Hope that helps (y)

Thanks hardboiled and Si,

Really appreciate the help, just what I needed(y)

If the car has been serviced at fiat, you should in theory be able to get a printout of the vehicles service history

Now thats a tip!

Do you think going to any dealership would do?
