Hi all.

I need some advice on a problem I have with my fiat punto 2003 in red.

I put a set of magnetic signs on both doors for my dad's business. But after removal we noticed that the signs had left some sort of marks on the door, it was left a few days to see if would go. The fogging can't be rubbed off, it seems to be inside the top layer of paint.

I read somewhere that it could of been moisture trapped between the sign and the door, which has seeped into the paint.

I tried a quick hair dryer on it to try dry it but nothing has worked so far. There is white fogging with what looks like air bubbles.

I have a photo but can't seem to upload from phone.

Please help,
Michael

Only thing I can suggest to do is try a very high grade of wet and dry sand paper with a block (piece of wood or something along them lines, making sure the wood doesnt touch the paint) use 3000 grade wet in warm water, just to make it dull, dont go through the lacquer or paint! then polish the hell out of it, if that doesnt work then its respray time im afraid
