Could P0101 error code be caused by faulty throttle potentiometer?

why do you suspect the throttle potentiometer?

I've read an article where they mention this sensor conflicts with the MAF sensor if there is a fault but gives a MAF error code. I've tried everything with the MAF circuit so its just a thought.

Yes, Lack of power, unsteady idling, low revs approx 2000rpm, high fuel consumption.

boost sensor would be my first 'point of call'.
