Hi all.
I'm back from Madeira now. Sadly not too tanned but had a fantastic time.
I've posted in this section because over there, I couldn't believe how popular FIATs were there. High spec ones too. In the VILLAGE I stayed in, within the first two days, I seen 9 Seicento Abarths MPI. In total I seen 18 including SPIs over the holiday. There were also loads of Punto GT Turbos, HGTs and Palios (plus Palio pickups). Obviously loads of old Pandas, Unos and Tipos but also a handful of really well kept Strada/Ritmo's. FIAT over there is like FOrd and Vauxhall are here. A huge contrast.
I'll post a pic of my FIAT hire car too in a bit when I work out how to d/l off my new fangled camera.
EDIT: I also found out that Madeira cake is known as English cake over there. hehe. Actual Madeira cake is made of honey and mollases and is round and brown. Bit like a fruit cake.
