Hi All
I have a '96 Brava 1.6 with the world's lumpiest tickover. It seems to be on the verge of stalling. At higher revs it is fine, if a little louder than I would like.
I have had the exhaust checked, new plugs and leads (as recommened by a local garage)but it still ticks over like an old diesel.
The plugs were definately ****ed - obviously not even checked by the dealer at its last service, and the leads didn't measure as expected either.
One suggestion made to me was a hole in the inlet manifold, but that is not the problem.
As you can tell by my less than eloquent discription of the problem my car knowledge is limited, so any help or ideas would be appreciated....
