Anyone got any experience of putting an LSD into one of the above? Whilst the engine and box are out of my race Uno I was thinking of fitting one - is this worthwhile?
Quaife do one - the QDH2K ATB Diff - any views on this? Is it worthwhile, what will it do to the handling with nothing else changed?
The engine is being re-built at the moment and is a 1580cc n/a SOHC out of a Fiat Tipo, it will be ported etc & fitted with the Kent FT9 race cam and the twin 40 webbers out of my old race engine. Not sure what power or torque to expects. The old 1372 n/a engine was supposed to give about 118 bhp and went well....until I blew it up at Brands Hatch! I guess that the new engine will be a small bit more powerful but it won't be excessive.
The gearbox is a "top change" Tipo type 'box from an Uno Turbo with a lowered final drive.
