mine is supposed to be lowered 25mm and it is noticeable, it sits much better on the alloys. the overall look is much better, it sits that much neater and looks much better.

Yeah i want to go 40mm but not sure wether or not to just go 20mm as there on ebay at the moment?!

Andy, is your car lowered by 25mm in the pictures in the members gallery?

I'd say definately go for 40mm. It just looks perfect around a set of 17's, plus you'd never get any scrubbage, and it's still high enough to not scrape bumpers when parking etc.

I'm sure you'd regret going for cheaper springs after all the effort of fitting them! I'm sure it costs about £90 or even less for 40mm springs

Yeah thats what i was thinking, how much does it cost to get 40mm springs fitted to your car?

in my members gallery its not lowered no, but i have some recent pics up in a thread below. it was parked on a hill in those pics though.

fitting costs im not sure on as mine is a full apex kit, oh and Ash G pretty much fitted them for me, with a tiny bit of assistance from me lol

Andy

I did them myself in an hour or two. Nothing too complex as long as you use your head. You'll need to buy/borrow some spring compressors, and obviously be carfelu so as not to let the spring fly off and take your head off. There's really nothing to it!
