Technical lowering

my car just failed mot, i have her lowered 40mm on PI springs. It was to do with clearance of the bump stop on top of the axle. is it ok to trim these back.

What size wheels are you on?
Maybe try a different tester?
I know loads of people running Bravos on 17's and 16's with 40mm drops! It really shouldn't be a problem!
