hello all... does anyone know how easy it is to lower a bravo cus got some prices and their to steep and if anyone does like lowring them for a fee.... then feel free to say im in the west mids... thanks

The cheapest springs I've found are G-Max at £80 from www.iconstyling.com , they lower by 40mm I think. Not too sure of the quality tho.
Might be better to save a bit and go for something like Eibach?

Go 4 EIBACH !

They simply rock... Go for EIBACH...

The ride quality is marvelous, comfort is surprisingly closer to the original springs :)

Cheers,

Boorock

thanks

and how easy are the springs to get on, its not realy the price of the springs u see, its more the cost of getting them fitted and was wondering how hard or easy they where

Re: Go 4 EIBACH !

and how about fitting them mate are they easy to fit?

Re: Go 4 EIBACH !

The fronts are fairly easy I think, you need spring clamps tho. The rears I hear are a bit harder. Dont think they are that expensive to fit tho, shop around for quotes. Think mine was done for about 60 by a local mechanic

Re: Go 4 EIBACH !

I'm curious as to why so many people spend £80-£100 on springs when they can get a full kit for £200 or so...?

I have always been advised against fitting aftermarket springs...

Is it because of fitting costs?

(P.S. I'm not having a go at anyone whos fitted springs!)

Re: Go 4 EIBACH !

Speakin from personal experience, when I've bought springs only its beacuae I was modding on a budget. I mean yeah u can get kits v cheap now but they are still usually at least double the price of springs only, then when you add fitting on top of the price of the kit, you are probably lookin at near £300 which in the past has been a little out of my price range so springs only has been a better option

Re: Go 4 EIBACH !

I've got 35mm Pi's. Cost me £100.

10 minutes each per rear suspension turret?

2 hours each per front suspension turret.

Front's can be a bit of a pain in the ass, but in my opinion, definately get Eibach's if you can afford them.

Cost me £25 to have 'em fitted by a mate, a garage would probably charge nearer £100.
