"Full set of 4 lowered and uprated springs suitable for 1.4, 1.6 & 1.8 models. Lowers by up to 40mm."

can you put these on the 1.2???

Re: Re: lowering springs

try fastfiat.com

otherwise wouldnt the 1.4 springs be a match?

i may be wrong so maybe someone could tell him for definate

Re: Re: Re: lowering springs

might be ok, wouldnt like to say for certain, different springs are set for different engine weights so might make the car unstable

Re: Re: Re: Re: lowering springs

you might have a point there, ask tom he'll probly no, i know you can definatly get them though

I'm pretty sure there was a suspension change in 96 as you can find pre 96 and post 96 on some kits.

My guess is that they have not updated the application lists as the 1.2 is quite new. They should fit just fine.

Hi, Just read your post about the 1.2 springs and if you like I can call the supplier that I deal with at work for P.i. springs. They will be able to tell me if the springs are suitable for your model and by how much they will lower.

Give me a call on 01928 563383 tomorrow afternoon and I'll be able to give you the answer. If they do fit I can do a set of springs at £90.00 seeing that you are a fellow bravo owner!! Can't say fairer than that.

I own a lowered 1.2 sx

I own a lowered 1.2 sx 2001 model - the springs will fit from any post 96 1.4 - 1.6 or 1.8! Although the latter will not lower as much because of the difference in weight!

If you want to buy replacement shocks you will struggle - it took me a week of 3 hrs a day on the phone to get the right set! And they were second hand never used!

The later bravo's esp 1.2 models have differing suspensions! Your exsisiting suspension will need to be measured! At the bottom where it bolts to your swinging arm thing you need to measure the distance between the two plates! Ensure this is the same and no probs!

I had a lot to send back afterwards that didnt fit!

According to some suppliers they had 4 diff types they were not sure would fit! But no1 really seemed to know anything about bravo suspension!

Hope this helps - Kev
